Culinary Arts & Baking Contest

In order to better prepare students for competition Southern NH University has agreed to run a hands on practice session for baking and hot foods. This will be a great opportunity for everyone to be informed of expectations for competition. Big thanks to the chefs for this opportunity!!!

Hands on practice {baking and hot foods} for state competition [snow date Sat. Feb 16, 2008]

Due to space and time constraints practice is limited to the following:

1 participant and 1 observer per school- the observer can be EITHER an advisor or a student

Hot foods- participant and observer[student] can switch roles when components change

Baking- participant must stay the same and observer must be directly behind them due to lack of space

Saturday March 8,2008  

Skills culinary competitions- hot foods, baking and dining room service[snow date March 15, 2008]

1 flight for all contests / times TBA [will start in the morning]

Limited to 2 students per contest  per school

Most everything else will be the same as in the past
